Become a Friend of the Fringe

There are a number of ways to support the Fringe. Taking part in events is the easiest way but you may also like to become a Friend (see below).

If you felt moved to make a philanthropic donation, we would ensure your contribution went to worthwhile use. Please contact director Giles Wilson if you wish to do this.

Since 2024 we’ve been inviting our supporters to become official Friends of the Wanstead Fringe. This means you can show your support for our efforts to build Wanstead’s long-term cultural future in a way that goes beyond merely coming to events (crucial though that is).

Friends will receive frequent updates on Fringe activities, the inside track on what’s going on, and a special gift on joining. Being a Friend of the Fringe costs a minimum of £10 per year (though if you want to give more that’s very welcome. The money raised will go towards our running costs and investing in kit, such as the theatre lighting we purchased in 2023.
