The Music Rooms is a series of concerts offering a fresh listening experience in the heart of Wanstead, presenting eclectic musical programmes and extraordinary musicians. These concerts aim to offer a cosy headspace to reflect and explore through music, like a living room whose doors open to further, uncharted rooms.
The Music Rooms is curated by Simone Spagnolo, award-winning composer, lecturer, and Wanstead resident.
Join us for a special lunchtime concert with extraordinary harpist Gabriella Dall’Olio, one of the most inspiring and versatile musicians of our time. Harp Trip – the second concert of The Music Rooms series – will be dedicated to this fascinating and complex instrument, exploring its colours and peculiarities, as well as the magical and ecstatic spaces it can musically reach.
Gabriella Dall’Olio will perform a repertoire of traditional and contemporary works, putting forward the harp as an instrument able to capture the intimacy of chamber music as well as sidereal musical spaces.
The concert will last approximately 50 minutes.
