Falling in (and out) of Love

The Wanstead Curtain Methodist Church Hall, Hermon Hill, London E11 2AR
Organized by Jemima Watling

Falling in (and out) of Love is a witty, romantic cabaret celebrating the joy – and occasional absurdity – of falling in love.

Performed by husband-and-wife actor-singers Jemima and Luke, the show brings together songs from the Great American Songbook and twentieth-century musical theatre, weaving beautiful melodies, sparkling lyrics and playful storytelling into an evening of vintage-inspired entertainment.

From breathless romance to marital exasperation, Jemima and Luke explore love in all its glorious contradictions: the flirting, the falling, the fighting and the making up again. Expect sharp comic timing and songs by some of the greatest writers of the twentieth century, performed by two people who actually have to go home together afterwards.

Usually performed as dinner theatre, so please bring a picnic to enjoy!
