Pottery: Handbuilding Taster Session

Suitable for adults, kids (6+) and family groups. 

The hand-building taster sessions are a fun and very accessible introduction to clay.

In this class you will have the opportunity to work on guided projects, or have the freedom to develop your own wonderful creations. These classes are perfect for adults and kids alike, and are suitable for children from the age of six.

If you would like to join your child for this session and participate, please ensure you book a place for yourself as well as your child. This class accommodates a maximum of five students.

The best piece from the session will be selected and you will then have the opportunity to decorate it using a wide selection of brush on glazes. Once your masterpiece is fully dry and has completed its firing, you will be notified by email that it is ready for collection, approximately 6 to 8 weeks later.

Have fun experimenting with form, texture and decorative techniques and create something you will cherish with this natural, tactile and versatile material. Pottery is the perfect antidote to our frenetic modern lives. You cannot rush clay. Be present and focused and allow yourself to disconnect. I look forward to welcoming you to the studio.
