Chris McGlade presents his critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe show Forgiveness. Chris is a northern working class comedian fiercely proud of his heritage. Just before the 2019 Edinburgh Festival he previewed his show Forgiveness at Wanstead Comedy Night, and then went on to receive rave reviews in Edinburgh with a series of impressive performances inspiring packed rooms into standing ovations.
Forgiveness is a fiercely powerful show about a brutally shocking story: Chris’s father was murdered in 2011. So how do you forgive your father’s murderer? And how can telling such a story include uproarious laughter? Chris’s conscientious, brutally honest (but un-PC) comedy provides the answers. And whilst celebrating the life of his father, we hear a powerful message from a voice not often heard.
