SEE ROCK CITY by the award winning playwright, Arlene Hutton, is a warm, funny & poignant drama set in WWII, following newlyweds, Raleigh and May, as the world around them changes. A story of hope in hard times and of two young people learning how to build a future when the future of the world is anything but certain.
Opening on Bank Holiday Monday 5 May, with a special introduction from the Mayor of Redbridge, and running all week, this event offers a window into the lives of ordinary folk in wartime England and is suitable for everyone over the age of 12. Every ticket includes a VE Day party in the interval with food and a glass of fizz.
This production is by Wanstead Theatre Co whose previous productions include Talking Heads, Breakfast with Jonny Wilkinson, and Bazaar & Rummage.
