SUMMARY:Wanstead Kinema presents: The Sale (2025\, 12A)
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to present a new original British movie\, from director Marcus Shepherd and producer Nick Bertram. \nHeather\, a single Walthamstow mum in her 50s is cashing in on her house in the village\, dreaming of a new life by the sea. But when no-one wants to buy it\, she fears her home of the last 20 years is haunted. \nWritten and set in Walthamstow\, with a talented local cast\, this very entertaining thriller features some stellar performances\, some comic moments\, and a supernatural surprise. \nThe Point Bar will be open from 7pm\, and the screening will start around 7.30pm. After the film\, we will have a Q&A with the director and producer.

SUMMARY:Wanstead Kinema presents: Paddington in Peru
DESCRIPTION:Join us under the stars at Christ Church Gardens for an al-fresco movie night complete with our Kinema bar and freshly made popcorn! Just bring something to sit on and something to keep warm\, and maybe a marmalade sandwich for all eventualities. \nEntry is from 6pm – the film will begin around 7:15 depending on when the sky is dark enough. Paddington in Peru is 1hr 45 min long. \nPlease come to the main entrance of the Church on Wanstead Place and follow the instructions of our friendly greeters and stewards to help everyone get a good view. You are welcome to bring snacks or a picnic but please take your rubbish home with you after the show. \nPlease note that admission is by advance ticket purchase. For safeguarding reasons we cannot allow unaccompanied under 16s\, and parents remain responsible for their children at all times.
