DESCRIPTION:What if you were a robot and you didn’t know it? What if the scientist in charge was in love with you? \nAnnabeth is a robot being used in various experiments by scientists Harvey and AJ. She is unaware that she is a robot. \nHarvey is in love with Annabeth and is trying to make her more human. At first he is loving and kindhearted but as time goes on he becomes more cruel and controlling\, as he tries desperately to get what he desires. Meanwhile AJ watches over\, his true nature unknown. \nAs Annabeth starts to realise their true intentions\, shocking revelations are revealed and a brutal fight ensues. \n  \n\n  \nLove and Human is new play by writer and actor Samuel Winner (recent Mountview Musical Theatre Performance graduate). It explores themes of control\, autonomy\, romance\, the different power balances of relationships and how these change over time. \n\nDuration: 50 mins\nAge rating: 16+\nGenre: dark comedy\, thriller\nContent warning: strong language\, violence

SUMMARY:Wanstead at War
DESCRIPTION:Local Historian Davis Watson gives an updated version of his talk that was originally held to celebrate eighty years since VE Day.  \nA look back at the bombs that fell in the town\, local residents who lost their lives and Wanstead’s hard working local Civil Defence Service. \nThis is a FREE event with donations being collected on the evening towards “Inspire Wanstead” – our campaign to save Christ Church and preserve it for the next generation. \nThe church will be open from 7:00pm to allow visitors to view some of the beautiful flowers from the Parish of Wanstead’s popular flower festival.
