Wanstead Bookshop presents: Joseph Elliott

Saturday 11 September at 11:00 am 12:00 pm

Wanstead actor and children’s author Joseph Elliott has been familiar to CBBC viewers for years, thanks to various roles, most notably on Swashbuckle. As a writer, his Shadow Skye trilogy, the second part of which was published this year, won fans for his stylish storytelling. In this free event at Wanstead Library, he will be telling tales and answering questions about writing and acting.

His debut novel, The Good Hawk, was released in 2020 to great critical acclaim. A Sunday Times ‘Book Of The Year‘, it was described as ‘Thrilling’ by the New York Times and ‘Gripping’ by the Wall Street Journal. Set in a mythical version of Scotland, it is an epic fantasy adventure, which has been compared to Game of Thrones, and features a protagonist with Down’s syndrome. His second novel, The Broken Raven, continues the trilogy.

You can order the books here from Wanstead Bookshop, or buy copies on the day and get them signed.
